So, even if you don't have anything else for breakfast, it can keep you going well till lunch time.It is also perfect for growing kids, due to their continuous activity and hunger levels.
Yiels: 2 large glasses
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups soy milk/ skimmed/ low fat milk
- 1 tablespoon whey protein (optional)
Combine all the ingredients in a blender/ juicer and blend to form a thick shake.
I have used blueberries and raspberries. You may use strawberries or any other berries of your choice.
Whey protein is not required if you don't do hard workouts or exercise.
While you may use options for milk, soy milk is high on protein.
