- 2 lbs Carrots
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter (4 oz)
- Ground cardamom
Melt the butter in a wide mouthed saucepan and put the grated carrots in it. Add the milk and sugar and keep stirring the mixture on a medium to low flame till all the milk and sugar is blended with the carrots.
Add the cardamom powder and switch off the stove.
In another pan fry the cashews,almonds and raisins in some butter.
Top the prepared halwa with the fried nuts and raisins.
